Grubby

haven't been in for a while. But used to go in because of the kid's facility. Have to say won't be back. Found the wholw cafe grubby. The whole floor especially the entrance area was filthy. Tables were dirty and covered in smears and this was at 10am!! To add insult to injury there were 4 girls standing in behind the counter chatting. There's a lot more far nicer/cleaner cafes in the area to enable me to avoid this one big style! Eat etc., Belmont Road, Streat, & Barista Ballyhack. and soon to be The Yard on Belmont Road. Buck up!!

Embarassing incident

Regular at this cafe- good for kids, nice lunch menu, in general staff very friendly. Part of a bill had not been paid because the staff had forgotten to put it on the bill nearly 2 weeks ago- a sum of �£4-5. We have been in many times since, unaware that this happened and today my wife was accosted and embarrassed as the owner instructed one of her staff to have "a word" to retrieve this unpaid bill. Is this how a business should be run? Not sure we will be back.
