Odyssey Pavilion, ,La Tasca are a chain of authentic Spanish restaurants with a careful blend of everything that is good about Spain - warm decor, authentic cuisine and friendly hospitality. All this combines to create a great atmosphere, where you can relax and eat or drink as much as you like, from a selection of Tapas dishes to an authentic Paella. They also serve a selection of Spanish wines, sherry, beers and Sangria.
I cannot fault this restaurant at all. A former boyfriend introduced me to Spanish Tapas and I must say I cannot think of a nicer way to eat. The staff are extremely helpful, the food is wonderful and the ambience is perfect. The decor is typically Spanish orientated which adds wonderfully to the atmosphere.I would thoroughly recommend La Tasca in the Odyssey or even in Victoria Square to anyone.... I can't wait until my next trip!!
I had never been to a Spanish Tapas Bar or tried tapas food, so this was something completly different for my girlfriend and I.There was a wide variety of food to choose from, but we were unsure exactly how big the tapas portions would be. We were advised by the waiter to order at least 3-4 tapas, but didnt know if he meant between us or each!..We ended up ordering a starter and three tapas between us which really didn't fill our stomachs, so ended up going for a dessert each to make up for it.The service from the staff was excellent from start to finish and were polite and friendly.Despite this, what we ordered was tasty and at least we know the amount to order for the next time as we are no longer 'Tapas Virgins!'
This is an all-round five star place. Wonderful food, a huge menu, and tapa's for a tenner. A great bargain, lovely helpful waiter's.Love it.

Situated upstairs in the Odyssey entertainment complex with a great view of the surrounding area, La Tasca is one of the premier Spanish restaurants in Belfast. Dedicated purveyors of the tapas style of dining, it is advisable to come as a group here, and order a wide variety of dishes to share, as there are too many good choices on the menu for just a couple of people! Vegetarians are well accommodated for here, with a strong selection of meat-free selections. The staff are all ethnic Spanish, which makes the atmosphere electric, and coupled with the excellently attired interior, you could be forgiven for thinking you were sitting in a Spanish town eating their food. The food and drink are priced well, and the service is both friendly and professional. This one comes highly recommended, your main problem will be trying to pick which dishes from the amazing menu to go for!
