• Poor food, poor service

  I went to maggie mays a couple of years ago and really liked it. Then I went back recently to find the food was extremely poor and the service wasn't great. I thought they must have been having a bad day so decided to go back with a group of friends, most of the food we got was bearly edible. Although one of guys got a fry which he did enjoy. Also one of my friends had to wait an extremely long time for his food, and when he mentioned to the waitress he still hasn't got his food she gave a disgruntled reponse and wasn't very helpful.

• Grumpy, Ignorant Staff

  oisinf hit the nail on the head. The staff are extremely grumpy, and the tables are very cramped. You never feel welcome or properly greeted when you arrive there. The food is basic although you do get decent portions. I know a lot of people who love it there and a lot of students from botanic will eat there on a regular basis; Maybe it isnt just my cup of tea. I suppose if your not too fussed and you need somewhere to eat on botanic avenue then i suggest there, however i would recommend numerous other places along there such as Springsteens or madisons for a bite to eat before i would recommend maggie mays.

• Wake up Maggie!!

  If its rude, grumpy staff, narrow cramped tables, average food and poor toilets you're looking for come right here, in the heartland of student area so they clearly don't push the proverbial boat out.
