• Cafe East Cafe East delivers

  I once took my partner to this cafe for an evening meal. More of a restaurant, they have a selection of foods from across Asia, and are not limited to one particular cuisine. The set menu was very reasonable, and the food was excellent. Lots of taste and variety, and the portions are of a decent size. The costs were very reasonable, with both of us being well fed, including a bottle of house wine, for under Â&pound;30. The staff were pleasant and efficient, and always ready to help, without seeming to be 'in your face'. A good sign was the number of Asian customers dining in the restaurant. you can usually be sure that if the locals eat in it, then the restaurant is worth visiting. All in all, this was a pleasant and affordable way to have a nice meal, with several different cultures only adding to the experience. I will go back for another trip to the orient. <P>
