During this time Harpers became the first Belfast based company to introduce a large variety of screened and flexible control cables to suit customers requirements both in construction and in length.

During this time Harpers became the first Belfast based company to introduce a large variety of screen and flexible control cables to suit customers requirements both in construction and in length. Over a quarter of a century later, we continue to supply from an even wider range of cables for every conceivable application. Ranging from power distribution to data transmission, Harpers can provide a suitable cable for your business requirements. Major investment as we approached the New Millennium saw the introduction of 'Flexform' as a sister company to Harpers. Harpers now deal solely with the distribution of specialist cables and accessories, while Flexform manufacturers an increasing range of cables including textile braiding for decorative finishes. Our future will see greater exploration into custom cable design and short production run's. Production facilities onsite will keep turnaround time for orders to a minimum and allow us to experiment more with one-off orders.
What makes this business unique:"Special cables are standard stock at Harpers"Flexform assemble porcelain ceiling roses and lamp holders to suit the period house. To complement this range we have added 'coolie hat' shades and chain suspension rings (for hanging glass bowls). The period effect of these fittings together with the twisted braided flex makes for a authentic feel to the period interior. Bakelite and brass electrical accessories with a range of old style butlers bells and indicators will complete the Flexform offering in period electrics. CEILING SWITCHES Realistic "Victorian" style ceiling pull chord switches manufactured in plastic or in original finish-porcelain with wood. Ceiling pattress tassell rope pulls can be fitted to the porcelain switch adding a classical touch to the room. Complies with BS3676.
